About LuBinol

GERMAN LUBRICANT ENGINEERING, BOTTLED IN GERMANY

LuBinol® is a German manufacturer of automotive, commercial and industrial lubricants. From our production facility in Germany we develop, blend, fill and ship more than one hundred formulations – engine oils, transmission and hydraulic fluids, gear oils, greases, brake fluids and coolants – every one of them built against current API, ACEA, JASO and OEM performance levels and quality-checked before it leaves the line.

Who we are

A manufacturer, not a middleman

LuBinol was built on a simple conviction: a lubricant is only as good as the discipline behind it. That is why everything that carries the LuBinol name is produced under one roof in Germany – from the selection of base oils and additive systems through blending, filling, labelling and final inspection. There is no anonymous re-badging and no shortcuts between the formulation bench and the bottle.

Our catalogue spans the full life of a machine. Passenger-car and commercial engine oils in every current viscosity grade, from ultra-low 0W-8 hybrids grades to heavy-duty monogrades. Automatic transmission fluids for the latest 8- and 9-speed gearboxes. Axle and industrial gear oils, hydraulic fluids, turbine and slideway oils, multipurpose and specialty greases, DOT 4 and DOT 5.1 brake fluids, and a complete family of antifreeze concentrates and ready-mixes.

Whether the application is a city car, a long-haul fleet, a racing engine at redline, an agricultural tractor or a factory hydraulic press, there is a LuBinol product engineered for it – and a technical data sheet to prove it.

How we produce

Blended to German manufacturing tolerances

Every batch begins with certified Group III and fully synthetic base stocks paired with additive packages from leading global chemistry suppliers. Blending is temperature- and time-controlled, and each batch is sampled before filling: viscosity at 40 °C and 100 °C, viscosity index, flash point, pour point and appearance are verified against the product's own specification window before a single bottle is filled.

Filling runs on automated lines with checkweighing on every unit, induction-sealed caps and batch-coded labels, so every bottle can be traced back to its production run. Finished goods are palletised, stretch-wrapped and stored under cover until they ship – to distributors and workshops across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.

The result is consistency you can measure: the 5W-30 you pour today performs exactly like the 5W-30 you poured a year ago, on the other side of the world.

What we stand for

Four principles on every label

01

Quality first

Every batch is laboratory-checked against its specification before filling. If it doesn't pass, it doesn't ship – no exceptions, no "close enough".

02

Real specifications

Our products are formulated to current API, ACEA, JASO, DIN and ISO performance levels and the OEM approvals listed on each data sheet – not to marketing claims.

03

Full traceability

Batch codes on every bottle link back to raw materials, blend records and test results, so our partners always know exactly what they are selling.

04

Partnership

We grow through long-term distributors, not one-off deals – with technical support, training material and marketing assets for every market we enter.

How a batch is made

From base oil to sealed bottle

Every LuBinol batch follows the same disciplined route through the plant. It begins with incoming inspection: base oils and additive packages are sampled and verified against their certificates of analysis before they are released into storage. Nothing enters a blend tank on paperwork alone.

Blending itself is run against a locked formulation sheet – exact component weights, temperatures and mixing times recorded for every batch. Once the blend is homogeneous, the laboratory pulls a sample and runs it against the product's specification: viscosity at 40 °C and 100 °C, viscosity index, flash point, pour point, density and, where the grade requires it, cold-cranking and shear-stability checks. Only a passing result releases the batch to filling.

Filling, capping, induction sealing and labelling run on the same line under continuous weight and torque checks. Each bottle leaves with a printed batch code that ties it back to the raw materials, the blend record and the laboratory result – full traceability from tanker to shelf.

Quality & the laboratory

Tested before it travels

The laboratory sits at the centre of the operation, not at the end of it. It qualifies incoming raw materials, releases every production batch, and retains reference samples so any bottle in the field can be checked against the exact batch it came from – months or years later.

Test methods follow the recognised industry standards behind the numbers on our data sheets: kinematic viscosity to ISO 3104, viscosity index to ISO 2909, flash point to ISO 2592, pour point to ISO 3016 and density to ISO 12185, alongside the API, ACEA, JASO and OEM performance levels each product is formulated against. The result is simple: what the label promises is what the bottle contains.

The same rigour extends to logistics. Finished goods are stored indoors, palletised and stretch-wrapped for sea and road freight, and shipped with full export documentation – commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of analysis per batch and safety data sheets in the destination language where required. From Germany, our products reach partners across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.

Where we're going

A growing global network

From Germany, LuBinol products travel to a growing network of importers, distributors and workshops. Each new market starts the same way: we study the local vehicle fleet, climate and regulations, recommend the right slice of our catalogue, and back the partner with technical data sheets, product training and point-of-sale material in the local language.

Behind the scenes we keep investing where it matters – new viscosity grades as engines downsize and electrify, updated ATF chemistry as gearboxes evolve, and cleaner, longer-life coolant technology. The catalogue you browse on this site is a living document: it grows with the machines it protects.

If you would like to bring LuBinol to your market, our export team replies within one business day.
